This agreement is made between each individual participant on the Day Retreat and “OpenGate Retreats” (“we”, “us”) which is owned by Clive Gerner of 56 Grove Road, London N12 9DY. All Day Retreat bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions and in making a booking each individual participant is deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Each individual participant acknowledges they are 18 years of age or older.

OpenGate Retreats is committed to making the Day Retreat as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. In any yoga class participants are encouraged to only do what feels best for them and to avoid pain in the body. Our experienced instructor will provide adjustments throughout the flow to give different options to participants if they find something may not be accessible. 

Participants taking part in “active” activities (yoga, walking) acknowledge they are aware of the risks of injury of taking part in these activities. All participants acknowledge they have voluntarily chosen to participate in these activities and that by accepting these terms and conditions they acknowledge they are fit and healthy enough to take part. Each individual on a group booking accepts that they will inform us, by email to info@opengateretreats.co.uk, of any changes to their health which prevent them from taking part.

Each participant assumes all responsibility and liability for any injuries they may sustain due to participation in these "active" activities. Whilst OpenGate Retreats carries public liability insurance, we can accept no liability whatsoever for any injuries or illnesses arising from taking part in the "active" activities.

It is the responsibility of participants to inform us (by email to info@opengateretreats.co.uk) at least four weeks before arrival of any food allergies or other dietary requirements. 

PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

To secure the groups place on the day retreat please fill out the form on the booking page on this website. 50% of the total cost is due at the time of booking with the remaining 50% due four weeks before the Day Retreat. Payment must be made into the following business bank account: Bank account name: OpenGate Retreats; Bank: Santander; Sort code: 09-01-30: Account number: 12083510. On receipt of the initial 50% payment, each individual participant will receive an email confirming their place on the retreat. A 50% refund will be provided to the lead booker if cancelled at least four weeks before the event by emailing info@opengateretreats.co.uk. It will be the lead booker's responsibility to refund individual participants if necessary. No refunds will be given if cancelled within the last four weeks.

We would not expect to amend or cancel your booking, but if this does happen, we will let you know as soon as we can and we will refund any fees paid to the lead booker. It will be the lead booker's responsibility to refund individual participants if necessary. However, we will not be liable to refund any fees you may have paid to any third party in connection with your booking.

COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. All electronic communication from us allows you to opt out of further mailings. OpenGate Retreats will never sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organisation.
